Dear ECC member,

Following the success of last year, the ECC 2021 Annual Conference will once again be a virtual event taking place on Thursday 25th November. In 2020, we welcomed more than 140 delegates from 60 ECC member organisations and partners, and we hope even more will join us this November!

The theme of the conference this year is “Reinventing our FutureMaking the right changes now for tomorrow’s workplace”.

Other topics and questions we will be exploring include:

  • How do we foster a culture of innovation for the future?
  • What is on the horizon for our future, and how are we best placed to prepare?
  • Remote to hybrid: how can we help people fit into shoes, when they have worn slippers for 18 months?

Keynote sessions will be delivered by Nick Hillman (HEPI), Stuart Branch (Weetabix) and Debra Corey (DebCo HR), and we are putting together a range of workshops covering legal issues, senior pay and reward, and diversity and inclusion.

We have a fantastic programme lined up, designed to address the issues higher and further education HR Directors are facing. Our workshops are interactive, informative sessions and our keynote speakers are leaders in their fields:

  • Nick Hillman from HEPI will share insights on sector changes and likely policy directions in today's turbulent political environment.
  • Stuart Branch of Weetabix will discuss about Inclusion without exception: individual wellbeing and positive organisational change.
  • World-class speaker and author Debra Corey will talk about the importance of giving your HR programmes a makeover, changing them to meet the changing needs and expectations of your people.

Please head to the event website for the full programme, and ensure you book your place early.

As well as our speakers, the networking opportunities on the platform we are using are incredible, and include a virtual exhibition, a networking carousel and the functionality to arrange private meetings or "speed dates". All of this whilst never having to leave the event platform!  ECC members can register any number of delegates at no charge. We hope this will enable more colleagues than ever to attend our keynote sessions - although book early for workshops as spaces for these are limited.  We hope you will join us and help us to make our first virtual event a success.

Click here to book your place now!

Bookings will close on 11th November 2021. We look forward to seeing you on the platform!

Regards,

Nicholas
